We’re well into December and I’m starting to feel a little Christmassy. Also, there’s snow on the ground here in London. So, two different pieces of music for the week; one for each of those things.
First, the theme music from one of my favourite Christmas films. It’s waiting on the shelf for nearer the time but it’s a definite yearly tradition.
Secondly, a piece from the late, great Dan Fogelberg, off the soundtrack to Warren Miller’s 1987 winter sports documentary (which I’ve never seen), Beyond the Edge.
I was lucky enough to be see Fogelberg live in Seattle in July of 2001. It was pure chance that I happened to be there when he was playing on the Waterfront.
Thanks for reading.
If you feel like some more music, then please check out some of my other Monday Music posts. They’re packed with great examples of music from movies, TV and other places.
Cheers,
Richard
