Moving on from my look at my favourite movie soundtracks, I’ve decided to devote a few weeks of Monday Music posts to my favourite musicals.  I love a good singalong as much as the next person, and the next few posts should give you a taste of what I’m about.

So, here’s the first –

West Side Story

This is probably one of my favourite musicals of them all.  I just love the songs and the sets and, as a big fan of Romeo and Juliet, the story. Plus, Russ Tamblyn and Richard Beymer, two of my favourite Twin Peaks actors, together on screen. Here are some of my favourite songs to kick off the week…
