Third in my series of favourite film soundtracks.
This one came out of nowhere as I was thinking the other day. Maybe it’s because the nights are drawing in and I associate this film with Christmas even though it’s not a Christmas film.
Sleepless in Seattle
There are some great songs on this soundtrack, from Harry Connick, Jimmy Durante and Nat King Cole, and it fills me with nostalgia for cosy nights in while frost is at the windows. Here are a few of my favourite bits of music from the film.
Sleepless in Seattle is probably my favourite romantic comedy, with a great story and a few tear jerking moments, not least the bit whee Tom Hanks’ character talks about his late wife on the radio. Love it.
