Sandwiches – an acrostic

I was on the playground on duty today. I was hungry and started daydreaming about sandwiches. This poem is a bit of fun which came out of that.

Sweet chilli sauce,

And pickled gherkins for the zing,

Never cut the crusts off,

Don’t do such a wasteful thing,

With spicy cheese and egg mayonnaise,

In between thick slices of wholemeal bread,

Cos lettuce, tomato and steak-flavoured crisps,

Have them on the move or tucked up in bed,

Each round will contribute to excellent mood,

So go stuff your face with this wonderful food.

Cheers for reading,
