Hi everyone, I knocked up another sonnet to stand by my earlier efforts for Laura Palmer and Agent Cooper. This one concerns the story of the dark force present in Twin Peaks: the inhabiting spirit, the evil that men do, the one known as BOB. Here is his story: The Story of BOB Loathsome spirit […]

Frank’s been busy producing a series of YouTube shows called “World of Strange” about some of the stranger things that go on in our world. I’ve been severely sleep-deprived in the past couple […]

Monkman was part of the prog rock band, Curved Air. Also during his career he has worked with The Shadows, Elton John and Brian Eno. His theme has an icy coldness […]

Palindrome for Dark Woods We as complicated creatures perceive, Darkness and vile things, Among trees vast, tall. Black and hungry fire burns, Hot and diseased, Wings spread across, Branches and leaves, […]

Read more "The Andromeda Experience – 5"Hi everyone, OK, this is my last Twin Peaks poem (besides the daily haikus) for a while. I had one more to get out of me but I’m aware that I’ve been filling news feeds with this stuff and I should probably stop for a time before I outstay my welcome. This last form I wanted to […]
Read more "The Battle of the Bob Bubble – a poem"Hi there, My latest attempts at Twin Peaks inspired poetry in different forms. These are cinquains, five-line poems which follow a specific syllable structure: 2-4-6-8-2. I tried to have a bit of fun with these and not make them too serious. Couldn’t help but go that way with one or two, though. Harry, Doomed in loving, […]
Read more "Cinquains for Lucy, Audrey, Candie and others"Just thought I’d experiment a little bit with another poetic form: the palindrome. It’s very hard to get it right and to make sure that the second half makes sense. Quite happy with this for a first attempt, though. Agony is freedom, And lodges fill spirits As darkness pulls light away, Longer no kindness can […]
Read more "The Lodge Palindrome – a poem"This is the last of these posts that I’m going to dedicate to my favourite bands for the time being. I’m going to move back to doing a particular piece of music each week. The last entry I’m going to do isn’t actually a band at all. I’m going back to the USA to talk […]
