For my friends and family who already know this, I’m sorry this will be popping up in your news feeds again today. 5 Years ago, I finally started doing what I’d always wanted to do – writing a novel. After a year of writing and several years of editing and agonising over things, I am finally able to share it with you. This is the first part of a series that I will be carrying on over the next few years. It’s available worldwide on Amazon for Kindle and in Paperback. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. It’s somewhere between Battlestar Galactica, Lord of the Flies and Star Trek.
Here’s the blurb off the back cover so you know what you’re letting yourself in for.
“A fantastic story.” Leslie E Heath, author of The Nivaka Chronicles
Paul Armstrong is 13 years old and going in a direction he doesn’t like. When a chance comes up to kick start his life with a scholarship to the National Excellence Centre, he puts everything into being at the top of the list.
Behind the testing and the interviews, however, lies a deeper mystery stretching around the globe. Children like Paul have been lured from their homes everywhere from Beijing to Belize for this special opportunity, but what is it?
Paul and the others soon discover that what they have been chosen for is beyond anything their imaginations can conjure, a journey far outside the limits of human exploration.
From the wild valleys of Wales to the dazzling rings of Saturn, The Ardenna Crossing is an adventure where nothing is certain, no-one is safe, and every moment takes you farther and farther BETWEEN TWO WORLDS.
Happy reading. Can I ask one favour? If you do happen to buy a copy and read it, please do leave a review on Amazon. That will help get the book more exposure and hopefully more sales. My good friend Cameron over at Obnoxious and Anonymous was kind enough to do a little video for me.

It’s not one of my favourite genres but I am buying it for one of my grandsons to share with his brother.
I do very much like the styling of the cover and the ‘font’ of the lettering and that is why I always buy books and don’t use Kindle.
I hope we get to read some of your poetry on Nextdoor (which is where I saw you) as I love the written word.
Best wishes for your continued success.
Wow, that’s so kind of you. Thank you. Hope they enjoy it.
