Aimee Cox

There’s just something about this picture and I can’t stop looking at it. Every time I do, I notice another detail that I hadn’t before.

It’s nothing like what I had in mind when I started the competition and that’s precisely why I love it so much.

Aimee will receive the £60 cash prize and her image will feature on this website and maybe even in the published version of The Ardenna Crossing.

Aleks Dedejeva gets the £20 second prize for her great painting which I will also use on the website.

Thank you to all the young people who took part in my little competition. Thanks to your teacher, Miss Child, who was kind enough to let me come and present the idea to you. And to Aimee and Aleks, thank you so much to both of you for your efforts and good luck with your artwork in the future. You both have a great talent and I hope by doing this you’ve found a new audience for it.
