Thought I’d share an early piece of concept cover art I’ve been working on for Book 3. Far from the finished article, but it’s the beginnings of an idea.

I’m over a quarter of the way through the first draft now and everything going well. I’ve had this kind of image in mind for the cover for some time now so it was nice to play around a bit and see what I could come up with. A lot of time passes in Book 3, there is a lot to fit in, and the title is a quote from HG Wells’ The Time Machine, the time traveller explaining how the rapid passing of day and night starts to look from the seat of his machine.
