28 Days of Love on Screen – Day 25 – Most unfortunate person in a love story

Day 25

Most unfortunate person in a love story

As soon as I thought up this category, there could be only one person to fill it. Bill Pullman plays such a lovely man in Sleepless in Seattle. He’s genuinely in love with Meg Ryan’s character and doesn’t put a foot wrong. He is gracious and attentive.

Indeed, he spends most of the film being ridiculed for the fact that he has life-threatening allergies and medical issues, all of which he deals with stoically. He even handles the inevitable rejection with incredible grace. A very unfortunate character, indeed

Cheers and see you tomorrow,

Richard

Gut bacteria are an important component of the microbiota ecosystem in the human gut, which is colonised by 1014 microbes, ten times more than the human cells. Gut bacteria play an important role in human health, such as supplying essential nutrients and synthesising vitamin K.  Dysbiosis (imbalance) of the gut bacteria communities can cause many chronic diseases, such as inflammatory bowel disease, obesity, cancer, and autism (Zhang et al. 2015; Impact of gut bacteria on human health and disease)
