Hi all,
I managed to wheedle my way onto national television this week. Blink and you’ll miss me, literally.
Last year, local conservationist Sandi Toksvig was the focus of a Channel 4 documentary series about the work she has been doing restoring some local woodland. She came to our annual parish council assembly (where you can see me blurry in the background).

A couple of months later, she invited some of our local children down to her woodland to take part in forest school activities. Of course, as it was during school time, I was required to go along and chaperone them. I managed to insert myself into this shot too.

So I guess I can tick that one off the bucket list. I have now appeared on national television, albeit blurry in the background. The series, Sandi’s Great British Woodland Restoration, is now streaming on All4. It’s worth a look for some of the lovely woodland that I’m lucky enough to work within walking distance of.

Cheers
Richard
